Autobahn Extremist was founded in 1997 by, Christopher R. Moore and was born from his pursuit for perfection and his passion for Porsche. We are a one stop Porsche shop and proud to say we do it all! We have the more equipment than the local Porsche dealerships and our expertise really puts them to shame. We do tires, maintenance, race prep, build our own engines, and transmissions, powdercoat, paint, concours and full Restoration. We have not been stumped yet.

Engine Building
Chris Moore, Autobahn’s resident mechanical artist has been mechanically inclined his entire life. At the age of 8, he put together a motorcycle his friend’s dad promised “if you can put put this bike together you can ride it”. He did put that bike together but never did get to ride it.
Chris is a master engine builder who meticulously address every part, right down to the patina of the bolts! When building an engine, Chris ensures that every component is polished, re-plated, painted and refinished to OEM specs. Our customers can attest that his engines make their Porsches’ fast and reliable.
To ensure that your engine is tuned to perfection, we use our own in-house Mustang chassis dyno to develop the perfect blend of horsepower and torque.
Maintenance
While serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, Chris Moore became acquainted with Technischer Uberwachungsverein (TUV), Germany’s Technical Monitoring Association. TUV requires every dealership or independent shop to repair any safety related issues found on a vehicle.
Chris embraces the spirit of TUV at Autobahn Extremist, inspecting every client’s car for safety related items whenever a car is in for service.

Bare metal stripping, Glasurit paint, engine rebuilds, Transission rebuilds, Exhaust, Brakes, Suspension, and refinishing FUCHS wheels with OEM finishes to perfection. Our attention to detail is rivaled by none. We do full interiors, German leather, special order Tartans, RS panels, seats, and full sliverknit carpet sets. We save the originality of your Porsche and abide by the COA. If you’re entering a prepared class we style your car in an appealing way that honors the marque.
